Multiple Implants

Multiple missing teeth can have an impact on confidence, social life and oral wellbeing. Anxiety and avoiding smiling to hide the gaps are the two most common complaints we hear from our patients. It also impacts the ability to chew your food.

Replacing multiple teeth with dental implants can be a very similar process to replacing a single tooth.

Full Dental Implants

When people lose teeth in their upper or lower jaw, dental implants can be used as replacement tooth roots onto which artificial teeth are attached. At our practice we provide only the best implant treatments that are effective and affordable to improve your smile.

With Full implants four titanium dental implants are used as a foundation for a full arch of teeth. Only four dental implants are needed due to the unique positioning of the dental implants. New teeth such as dentures or bridges can then be attached to the dental implants, with treatment often complete in a single day.

Dental implants are now the most popular and established tooth replacement solution. Implants are placed directly in the jawbones, where by they act as a replacement for the root. The final phase is to place a crown or denture on to the implant.

Here at Ipswich dental surgery, we only work with the best implants in our practice.

Simple answer is they are less painful than tooth ache associated with tooth decay or poor oral health! All our treatments are done under a local anaesthetic and we can provide sedation upon request.

A dental implant is a small titanium screw that is placed in the jawbone and acts as a root. After placing the ‘screw’, implant has to be allowed time to heal which can take from 6 weeks to 12 weeks depending on each individual case.
